My work exists in the space between becoming and remembering.
How we are constantly reassembling ourselves across time, thought, and emotion.
I trace these shifts, letting each piece evolve from a single moment of recognition into an image that destabilizes what is known.
One of the figures that I continuously find myself lost in, is
someone I once was, someone I shifted into, someone I no longer am.
Through her, I explore the multiplicity, the states of consciousness that form and
dissolve as we move through experience.
Around her appear shapes, living entities, places, prominent figures, that otherwise challenge or guide her, serving as embodiments of memory, influence, or desire.
These phenomena become the voices that lead the process of
questioning and defining; how it transforms in relation to others.
Every surface begins as a body of memory.
Canvas is torn and sewn, the stitches become skin, and gesture becomes breath.
This mirrors the act of being; gathering, fracturing, and rebuilding the intake of ambient information.
Every color, mark, disruption, carries the residue of the one before it.
I use painting as both a form of destruction and meditation.
It is where control meets surrender.
Where thought dissolves into instinct, memory becomes color.
In this process, I question what it means to be seen.
What parts of ourselves we reveal, what remains beneath the surface.
Energy, memory, and form are always in constant dialogue.
The work moves between intimacy and distance
between the body and the mind.
It no longer belongs to one or the other.
Each painting becomes its own consciousness,
a fragment of an infinite whole, bound only by perception.
To breathe, to release, to return. Toward awareness. Toward the act of becoming.
