My work navigates the space between what is felt and what is seen. I make drawings, paintings, and fiber based pieces that explore our internal world.

Our thoughts, memories, and emotions and how they show up in the spaces around us. Some forms familiar, some abstract, but all coming from a place of convergence. 

I am interested in the way factors like identity, memory, and emotion live in the body. The figures or shapes in my work are oftentimes in motion - changing, stretching, or breaking apart. As if they're trying to become something new.

Sometimes they feel soft, sometimes they are loud and unsettling, but they always come from the same state of evolution. From here each piece becomes its own kind of being. These pieces sit in a space between presence and disappearance, what we show and what we keep hidden. I want the work to exude a sense of natural familiarity, invoking the viewers to search within themselves for the answer with no means of understanding.

Il mio lavoro naviga nello spazio tra ciò che viene sentito e ciò che viene visto. Sto realizzando disegni, dipinti e pezzi a base di fibre che esplorano il nostro mondo interno.

I nostri pensieri, ricordi ed emozioni e come si presentano negli spazi intorno a noi. Alcune forme familiari, alcune astratte, ma tutte provenienti da un luogo di convergenza.

Sono interessato al modo in cui fattori come l'identità, la memoria e le emozioni vivono nel corpo. Le figure o le forme nel mio lavoro sono spesso in movimento - cambiando, allungandosi o rompendosi. Come se stessero cercando di diventare qualcosa di nuovo.

A volte si sentono morbidi, a volte sono rumorosi e inquietanti, ma provengono sempre dallo stesso stato di evoluzione. Da qui ogni pezzo diventa il suo tipo di essere. Questi pezzi si trovano in uno spazio tra la presenza e la scomparsa, ciò che mostriamo e ciò che teniamo nascosto. Voglio che il lavoro trasuda un senso di naturale familiarità, invocando gli spettatori a cercare dentro di sé la risposta senza mezzi di comprensione.
